Alexandre Kuhn, PhD

Alexandre Kuhn

Director, Whole Genome Sequencing

Alexandre joined Selexis in 2018 as director of whole genome sequencing and has spent the last several years of his career focused on the genomic characterization of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells.

During his postdoctoral years at École polytechnnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), he made significant contributions to the understanding of molecular changes in Huntington’s disease. He subsequently joined A*STAR – Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore. There, Alexandre developed next-generation, sequencing-based methods to explore the role of mobile genetic elements in humans.

Alexandre has served as a first author of studies published in a number of high-impact journals, including Nature Methods and PNAS, and has co-authored more than 25 peer-reviewed papers. He is also an active contributor to the Bioconductor software project.
